St. Francis NY at Central Connecticut
Total Over 155.0 (-118)
St. Francis of Brooklyn looks to play rude guest in New Britain after handing out a 91-86 defeat to Central Connecticut State in the first half of this home-and-home on Tuesday. Trends suggest the Blue Devils may rebound to gain a split but they're tough to back given their lack of success under Donyell Marshall, coming into this one 1-5 after a 4-27 run last season. What's easy to back? How about another high-scoring game. Marshall and Glenn Braica prefer to get up and down the floor and combined for all of two blocks yesterday. CCSU hit the 3-ball at a higher rate that can be expected but this total still looks quite manageable.
Butler at Villanova
Villanova -12.0 (-110)
The Bulldogs have been off for three weeks after ceasing action due to a COVID-19 outbreak, so this is a difficult situation in that they’ll get restarted on the road against one of the nation’s most successful and disciplined programs. The 21-day in-season break is said to be the longest in Butler’s storied history. Head coach LaVall Jordan is 2-5 against Jay Wright and the Wildcats, who come in on a three-game winning streak after rallying past Georgetown and Texas in consecutive wins. Villanova’s lone loss came in overtime at Virginia Tech and I think you’ll see them continue to flourish against Butler here. The Bulldogs are playing a lot of freshmen and are relying on newcomers to gel together, which really puts them in a tough spot against a group led by All-American candidates Collin Gillespie and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, who are averaging a combined 30.2 points per game and controlling the game at both ends.
Same game 4 point Teaser: LSU -22 o148.5
UNO is pretty bad and LSU gives up points. They werent able to cover against SHST so that is why I just teased this one.
Umass should be bigger favorites than just a pick em, taking them
The Pitt Miami game went from +5 to minus -2.5. Lykes is probably out.
